How to nourish your body and skin with food
Updated: Dec 9, 2022

What you eat matters...Your skin reflects your overall health
What to avoid as much as possible if you want to fight inflammation:
refined carbohydrates, such as white bread and pastries
French fries and other fried foods
soda and other sugar-sweetened beverages
red meat (burgers, steaks) and processed meat (hot dogs, sausage)
margarine, shortening, and lard
An anti-inflammatory diet should include these food:
tomatoes
olive oil
green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, kale, and collards
nuts like almonds and walnuts
fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, tuna, and sardines
fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and oranges
It's not easy to resist the satisfaction that the "unhealthy food" bring to us but you can consume things in moderation and have a 80/20 diet most of the time with 80% of healthy choices and 20% of whatever you want to eat. ;) This is just a personal advice. :D
